Plane Crash in Buffalo

Reports on CNN...not much info yet except that it crashed into a house, was a Continental Flight, was a flight from Newark to Buffalo, and that there were 40+ people on board. Doesnt look like there are survivors

Buffalo is the 2nd most populated city in New York.

And the plane crashed in Clarence, a suburb to Buffalo... and things aren't looking good. so sad

Mother and daughter apparently were okay, but are at the hospital.

Very sad indeed.

Makes me feel great that I have to fly on Sunday!

I used to think it was funny when the word 'sketchy' was used in more formal circumstances... but I've actually heard it quite a lot on the news and other places... I always thought it was slang but I guess not!

Sketchy is not drug lingo. You just hear it that way because that's how you hear the phrase yourself.

this happened about 15 minutes from my house. It is very sad indeed, and also pretty fucked up that anyone could find any humor out of this situation. my thoughts and prayers are with any body affected by this

There is humor is everything nowadays. People are desensitized to unfortunate events. The "its sad but doesn't affect me therefore, I can make fun of it" attitude doesn't bother me.
