Joaquin Pheonix....

Sorry, had to make a thread just for this.......it's awesome.

I can't wait to see the documentary on him after he's done being this character in all parts of life.....believe that's what I read on a few sites via their source a few months ago...a part of this character is he's also a rapper...he's terrible....here's a video from awhile of him "rapping" in Vegas, lol...

I think it's all some kind of weird hoax. Not sure why he's doing it though. Not like his career needs the boost. I think a lot of people will be pissed off in the end if it does turn out to be a hoax.

It's all a wind up. He's trying to do an Andy Kaufman meets Sasha Baron Cohen.

You can see letterman is in on it, and the fact that Joaquin is so composed yet completely obtuse is eveident that he's in control. At one point during the interview he cracks up laughing but the contains himself again.

Anyone notice Paul has a Voyager?

I am not 100% positive, but I am damn close that it is 100% to create buzz around the movie.

I honestly wouldn't put it past any celebrity, but I am not totally sure. I would. Why not? People are so obsessed with celebrities, might as well make yourself unpredictable. That way no thing is "out of the ordinary" if you do something different.
