Would you go to a club OTP???
So I would like to know if you would go to a club OTP (outside the perimeter)on Saturday nights with headlining DJ's each week and we could stay open till 5:00am?
Definitely, supposing whereabouts outside the perimeter it would be. If it's going to be on the west side, nah, but east side, sure?
As long as it's not club Europe or something like that
Headlining Trance DJs?
Hell ya
Going to be north on i-75 by chance?
I'd go depending on how far out of the way it is and who is playing. What areas are you thinking about?
not that far outside the perimeter at all. Pretty close to 285
I've been spoiled over the past few years by having nearly every Liquified event within stumbling distance of my place.
I drove to Dreams up of Clairmont almost every week last year. It was a cool venue but it was pretty challenging to get people to drive out there on a regular basis. It wasn't a far drive but it just wasn't near anything else. Hell, if I wasn't DJing there, I would have gone once or twice (or three times for Glaude) and then just returned to the midtown venues.
I would drive OTP, but, honestly, probably not as often. I enjoy the luxury of not having to worry about driving.

I would be for it.
Venue will be everything though.
I wouldn't mind Club Europe...my problem with that place is the crowd...but I doubt they're going to be at Club Europe on a night advertised for ProgressiveHouse/Trance music...ya?
Oh...and of course I hate the music selection at Club Europe, that goes without saying.
Since I live outside the perimeter, it wouldn't matter much to me. All depends on the venue and DJ.
for sure
closer to 75/285 or 85/285?
....bring it on till the break of dawn Devin!!!!! Never heard of OTP
Whatever happened to that virgin venue i think it was the ABC center next to where club Europe is that Sikora used once back in late 2002. I thought that place had potential.
Anyhow, I think you lost most of the people willing to travel to ATL with the "2am closing law". Having people come out when they know they can be there till 5am is much better.
My voice I guess can speak for many (but not all) people that used to love to travel into ATL. We really didnt like driving into a city that was so hard to figure out where to park so you could get your car out after the club closed or not get towed. Being outside of atlanta is a plus to people who travel.
I think you will mostly lose the people that live in Downtown atlanta and stragglers off the street looking for a club to go to. So basically the turnout will be all EDM, plus side is, everyone is there for the DJ, bad side is also the same, might have to be reserved for only really big acts and DJs.
Of course thats why we leave it to the professionals
Well.. getting downtown has always been an effort on my part because I live in Lawrenceville, so if it's north of the city, I'd go. But if it's south of the city I wouldn't really even consider it.

It was nice to see ya, I had fun. I have to say, though, Halo's layout doesn't really support dancing. Overall good time though
Yes OTP and 5 am would be much better! I think if it is a big name people will come regardless....Look at the Tiesto Fiesto at the Trade Center a year and a half ago!....I guess Dreamz next week will be a good test ground b/c it is far enough off of 85 that it is almost like going OTP.
Yes to north OTP, no to everywhere else

Definitely...
Probably wouldn't have to pay for parking either
It's easier for me to access clubs OTP.
Yes. I would attend.
