He sold out on us bad. Especially since it was saying in his newsletter he was gearing up for Miami. Guess he is too hot shot now to come or he is asking for too much $$$ either or is my guess.

I'm sure we're gonna hear something about him soon. Most of the big dj's haven't posted their WMC on their websites or on the list.

haven't heard anything on him for wmc...I know he's coming to boston the beginning of april though.

i already posted this a couple weeks ago. no sander van doorn this year. and thats the official word.

cant say. honestly, it doesnt really matter why. at the end of the day it still sucks that he hasnt been here in over a year (once wmc passes). we got those two awesome shows he did at space in sept/dec of 2007 and then again for wmc last year but other than that, thats been it. miami sucks.

Yeah you're right that's one of my favorites of last year. Dj Preach also played that on his radio. Speaking of Preach anyone know if he'll be at wmc? Was he there last year?

What is Sander van Doorn's management thinking though by not booking him for the wmc?

He hasn't been to NY since the beginning of '08.

not to sound negative on wmc this year, cause ill be coming from canada and having a wicked time and such, butttttttttttt it just so happens that my fav main room jocks, happen to be marco v, sander van doorn and eddie halliwell.

and NONE are coming for wmc, kind of a let down for me, as I would have liked to go off to atleast one of there sets at wmc.


maybe next year, they will all take part in an event, "InCharge", "Fire it up" etc...throw Preach in there too, those 4 playing one event, would be nuts/

you're right, that would be a wicked event, Tech-Trance 4ever baby!!!! But how could this possibly happen when there's such a big demand for this guy? I wasn't at the conference last year, I haven't been since '05, but I know he played 5 different gigs last year, and I heard he ripped it, insane!!!! So being that I finally decided to go this year, he was one of the main guys I was anticipating on seeing.

Not for nothing, I've never seen Eddie Halliwell live, but I've heard a couple of his live sets, and they didn't impress me honestly. I like his bass lines, but his melodies seemed a little bit cheesy for me.

Any update on this?

That doesn't mean he is not coming after WMC. He is playing at Pacha in NYC in May so that could mean he is doing a US tour again.

maybe... but he hasnt come down this way the past couple trips so im doubtful to the fact he will this time. but i will check on it as the time gets a little bit closer i guess. ill let ya know.

its not that i dont think positive, its just that i dont set myself up for disappointment. its happened way too many times.
