California Labor Law

Anyone know it?

Trying to determine the legal way a daily rate is determined for a salary employee, as well as what overtime laws govern salaried non-management employees. Any references would be appreciated.

http://www.dir.ca.gov/dlse/FAQ_overtime.htm

quote:
If you are paid a salary, the regular rate is determined as follows:

1. Multiply the monthly remuneration by 12 (months) to get the annual salary.
2. Divide the annual salary by 52 (weeks) to get the weekly salary.
3. Divide the weekly salary by the number of legal maximum regular hours (40) to get the regular hourly rate.

That's exactly what I thought.
I have this dumb c*nt telling me the number of days in the work week are the dividing factor.
