Sick and in bed for the day, what to watch?

Contemplating starting deadwood cause if I like it I have more than enough episodes to last me through the day seeing as my sister owns the complete series. However, looking to get some other stuff downloading to watch later, anyone got any good tv/movie recommendations? And as for my taste, just finished the Wire and loved it, and been watching studio ghibli movies that i haven't seen yet, so anything along those lines would be fantastic.

Dexter- I was pretty late for the train on this one, until netflix recommended it one day.

Biodome with Pauly Shore. This was my "sick day" movie in high school. So fucking awesome.

Weeds. First two seasons are on Netflix instant.

Definitely the best non-sitcom comedy I've seen since Arrested Development.

Whenever I am sick, and I want to watch a movie, I usually watch some cheesy comedy movie to pass the time, and make me forget about my illness. Something along the lines of "Malibu's Most Wanted", "White Chicks", and "Rush Hour". Not the best of films (actually very bad movies), and may corode your brain when you're watching it, but hell it helps me with my illness. I see them as movies that you admit you hate, but you secretly watch it from time to time to pass the time.

In a suitable fit of irony, when I first read the word Biodome, I immediately read it as some French word obviously missing its accente/circumflex/etc.

Bee-o-doh-may.

:/
