Thumbs up PAUKL THOMAS Bio

Paul Thomas is one of the most consistent and freshest DJs around
Nic Fanciulli

Godskitchen worldwide resident, Toolroom records producer, Global Underground artist and stalwart member of the nu breed of house music At only 28 Paul Thomas is someone who is causing something of a major stir in the dance music fraternity.

Having touring the world for the past 3 years and playing on 5 continents, Paul has headlined some of the best clubs in the world, such as Lamania in Romania, Anzu in Sao Paulo and Zouk in Singapore. Production is now as big a passion as DJing, and past releases include original productions for Toolroom, Whoop and Baroque, plus remixes of Underworld, Josh Wink & Deadmau5.

Paul is no stranger to major events, having played for Global Gathering festivals all over the world and 2007 saw him return to play worlds biggest dance festival in the UK on the Radio 1 outdoor stage to 15,000 people for the fourth year running. This year his extensive tour schedule has taken him to USA, South America, Asia and all over Europe. During the summer Paul also embarked on a worldwide tour for the worlds biggest dance festival brand, Global Gathering.

Pauls rigorous studio schedule for 2007 was hugely successful, with critically acclaimed remixes of Da Hool Meet Her At The Love Parade (Data Records), Josh Wink Higher State (Strictly), and D Ramirez & Mark Knight Columbian Soul (Toolroom) being some of the highlights. Everyone from Sasha to Pete Tong & Deep Dish to Steve Angello has been supporting his music, with no fewer than 5 tracks being played on Radio 1 last year alone.

This year Pauls profile has risen rapidly. His first Godskitchen Underground mix ablum was released in May and received excellent reviews in all major dance magazines. 3 massive collaborations with Funkagenda have been signed up to Global Underground, Little Mountain & Toolroom respectively, while another 2 EPs have been snapped up by the Toolroom stable. Throw in brand new collaborations on the way with Mark Knight, Funkagenda, Jerome Isma-Ae & Micky Slim, plus remixes for Sebastien Leger, Deadmau5, John Dahlback, Sander Kleinenberg, Trisco & Chicane, and you get a man making more waves than most in the dance music scene.

ANDREW PHELAN Bio

Andrew Phelan ( pronounced 'feelin' ) was raised on Chicago's underground house scene, influenced early by local jocks such as Derrick Carter, Sneak, Heather, Halo and Justin Long. He began DJing in 1996, and soon found himself playing all around the Midwest.

Five years after first hitting the decks, Andrew made the move to San Francisco, where his smooth, layered mixing style quickly led to performances all over the Bay Area. Beyond residencies in his hometown San Francisco (Temple, Harlot, Pink), Andrew can be found traveling across the US, including stops in New York (Crobar), Miami (Bed), Chicago (Smartbar, Zentra), Seattle (Chapel), Los Angeles (King King), and San Diego (Belo, On Broadway).
Outside of his live appearances, Andrew has been recording sets for Thump Radio since 2002. As a Thump DJ, he can be heard nationwide on XM Satellite Radio's Channel 80: The Move, appears regularly on KBIG 104.3 in Los Angeles, and has mixed sets for Alice 97.3 in San Francisco.

In 2005 Andrew launched the Prismatic Label Group, which distributes releases on his own label Prismatic Tracks as well as The Fingermonsters label Monsta Music. Artists working with the group include Luke Solomon, Bryan Jones, Chris Lum, Jazzy Eyewear, Q-Burns Abstract Message, Santiago & Bushido, and Jake Childs.

The Prismatic Label Group is based out of Monsta Manor, a studio residing in SF's famed Moulton Studios complex. The Manor is operated by friends and collaborators Origami, Andrew Phelan, Cubik, and Shazbot, who produce tech house and perform live PAs together as The Fingermonsters.

In the studio, Andrew devotes the majority of his time to work with good friend Origami. The duo have releases out and upcoming on Drop Music, Amenti, Eight-Tracks, So Sound, Body Rhythm, Lost My Dog, Lingo, Bounce House, Chillin', Onethirty, Prismatic, Yerba Buena Discos, Dusted Roots, Olive, Turnaround-Sound, Monsta, and Fizzin', including collaborations with Sen-Sei, Brown, and Audio Angel.

Locally, Andrew can be found promoting his own Prismatic events in San Francisco, anchored by a series of color themed undergrounds by the name of Tonal. Past guests at Tonal have included the likes of Diz, Jay Tripwire, Justin Long, Troydon, Justin Martin and Miles Maeda. Be on the lookout for much more from Andrew Phelan and Prismatic Tracks in the near future.

JESSE HANTLA Bio

Around 1994 or so learning how to strum the strings of a guitar to banging on a set of drums, My bother Phil taught me the beginning steps of feeling music. I have loved music, sports, fast cars since I was a little boy, music has always been a large part of my life. Through family and friends who were in bands or were DJ's. In 1998 I had my first performance a middle school talent show with a few close friends I played lead guitarist to Green day's: "When I come around." The first taste of playing in front of a crowd, what a rush and people being able to have pleasure by your passion.

That was an exciting highlight to my youth, shortly after that I shifted my attention to focus on school and sports. Cross county, track, baseball! Over time I focused more on cross country and track through the fast pace sports I was involved with is when I found electronic dance music, techno, progressive trance, hard house, and just straight up chicago soul house. Artist such as Trance[]Control (www.mp3.com), Paul Oakenfold, John Digweed, Bad boy bill, Richard "Humpty" Vission, DJ Dan, DJ nitro, Derick May, Paul Van Dyk, just to name a few were my starting points for electronic dance music. Within the past few years I have become much more involved within the scene from promotions with Giantclub.com to Dj'ing @ Vanguard, Focus@Tapa's, Avalon, Circus Disco, Joseph's Cafe, to many random house parties! So if you like deep, funky, progressive to some techy glitch house you should come to my shows soon, and the next one is my debut at one of my fave clubs, KING KING for INCOGNITO's GET DOWN party.
