Very interesting tune, I can see why people might go taliban in a club if this song played.

This is exactly what I don't like.

Track has potential, but is kinda uninteresting all in all. Maybe a remix could improve it�

I love me some Michael Cassette but this is pretty meh.

I like this a lot, but the b-side is much better imo.

It's like Pryda meets Selway & Smith. Could see it doing damage. Not really digging it though...

Soldiers Of Karkadu > this release

a few of the loops were annoying. the bassline is solid as shit. definitely has that pryda feel to it.

Some releases by Michael Cassette such as Shadow's Movement, Zepellin and Cyan Child are actually good but this electro-trash is unbearable lol. When will this fad end!???



But releases under Michael Cassette are good. Very nice trippy melodic proggers/trancers with a sweet 80s synth-pop feel.

wow, i'm so touched that dirtyelectrotechprognasty ARTISTS are using their visions to make such profound political statements and tackle contemporary global issues!

Slow bassline, '80s feel... It's 'Sasha-esque'

However, this tune does not deliver.

I 2nd an earlier post... Vietnam on the b-side is better (more happening? in the track)... I preferred Komytea before Anjunadeep... Soldiers Of Karkadu anyone?

I bought Soldiers of Karkadu a while ago.

It sucks. Probably won't ever play it again.


These kinds of tracks have 0 longevity.

Why do you feel they don't have any longevity? The same can be said for a lot of music doing the rounds right now.

Because they lose any value they had after you hear them twice. There's just nothing special there.

First you define longevity. Because I think you're thinking of a different kind of longevity than me.

What I mean is, will the tune still be fun to play at a later date, will it still sound fresh and interesting as years go by.

'longevity' is going to be a really hard argument to win no matter what side of the fence you're on here.

I don't know why it's an argument because it boils down to personal preference.

As for the LoSoul tune, it was more an example of "glitchy minimal/techno" for Nostalgic.

I would play it out for the sake of a reaction. It has a decent bassline, a groovy percussion, it's put together in a way that most people would dance. Fuck it, why not?

I'm not saying it's my cup of tea either or that I think it's inspired and imaginative, but I'd bet the crow I play to would enjoy it.
