CNBC finally gets interesting
Revolt against the losers!
I don't like this guy and the way he talks. He sounds like an asshole.
Is this a sitcom? Fox News wants their village idiot back.
He's just irate, like most of us who work for our money, that we are now being forced to prop up the mortgages of those who can't pay, won't pay, don't pay, and had no business getting a loan in the first place. I don't blame him.
thats not interesting; im getting tired of "people and the economy"
something like "ufo disclosure" would be interesting.
Go Rick Go!
Wow, that was great.
my side of chicago...
Great journalism.
i hope that guy dies.

He presents himself as an idiot, and its a bit scary to see suits getting angry...
I am all for social services, big government, helping the little guy, but seriously these idiots that bought something they cant afford need to lose their houses.
If we bail them out they wont learn their lesson. Obama seems like he is trying to regain the status quo and that status quo was what got us here. It can not be maintained.
A culling of the herd needs to be done, and if its not done and we artificially keep it where we want it to be everyone is going to suffer eventually and we might already be.
Maybe the US should investigate and solve the issue of why people cant afford houses in the first place. That a working family of two cant even pay a mortgage, at least not a fixed rate one. Why do these families and people feel that they can only get a house through those horrid ARMs?
Thats what needs to be solved. Not bailing them out and saying "next time dont do this."

| Originally posted by winston with all due respect, big government is not good in a capitalist economy such as the U.S and the U.K. If you wan't a totalitarian government go to Cuba, Venezuela, or any other third world nation. Obama is a socialist and a radical. His ideas are not in accordance to the conservative population (the majority of people who work for a living, save money, live within their means, etc). Obama clearly condemns wall street. The government is trying to control everything and that is not good at all. A big government is not the solution to the problems of those who fell under the current financial doom. While it does affect all of us, the private sector should remain...well, private. That I agree with you. If you bail out everyone people will repeat their mistakes, because big brother (or big nanny) will be there to watch your back. Worry not, all of this money does not come without strings attached, we are entering the era of big government control and supervision, expect your privacy to be sold and distributed, expect big taxation, extreme fiscal policy, expect government intervention in everything that use to belong to the private sector. |

| Originally posted by winston Well, ironically, if you look at Los Angeles (the second largest city in the US, which happens to be very liberal)you will notice that as a result of their big spending problem, the entire population is facing, as i believe, a very dire situation of being completely broke. I believe today they found out they had some kind of budget, but that same system of government spending is what obama is aiming for, and the us government cannot afford, and i repeat it cannot afford to bail or spend more money after what they have spent over the last couple of years starting with bush. obama should have been more conservative from the get go, in my opinion. I am referring to California as a whole... |

can I kiss you?
the only person on cnbc who knows anything
fuck this guy is bang on!
I'm adding CNBC
by "big government coming" does a previous poster mean china to rape us in the ass?
funny last time i checked, most everyone worked for their money. no one got a bad mortgage on food stamps...
people who are responsible shouldnt be punished, but just because you pay your mortgage doesnt mean you DONT have thousands of dollars of debt somewhere else! its a little difficult to hear someone who shouts on TV for a job tell everyone else how it is.
shitty mortgages and the dumbasses whom picked them up suck, but mostly this is just a 'conservative' rant against obama. the fucking surplus hasnt even shown any effect yet, but already its *only* helping broke assholes. funny, i dont have a mortgage and i am a broke asshole, but i havent noticed a change yet.
the issue is, that the whole country is so far in the shitter it doesnt really matter whether you do or dont pay your mortgage. if we want to get back in the red we need to do worlds more than has been done. everyone in the US thinks everyone else is deadbeat, but most of the US debt is owned by foreign countries... be a 'free trader' with that|
So 92% of people who still make their mortgage payments should pick up the tab for the other 8%??
This 75B$ given to the bank, it's free money!
