asian gore movies

in relation to the recent 'asian action movie appreciation' thread.

that topic sparked an interest in me again towards the asian movie scene.. ive not watched many movies of late but i love movies.. mainly horror movies.. but i hate to say it, hollywood horror movies are fucking drivvel. same old crap, not scary, not gory, and usualy a waste o time.

the japs and fellow slanty eyed brothers. make great, wierd, messed up, gory, different, movies. it is these movies of which i speaketh.. can anyone recommend me some nice asian gore/horror movies please?

i like the aforementioned type movies.. but im not too knowledgable on it all.. like i dont know which directors are notorious for making horrific movies etc.. this sound cool tho.

Suicide Club is a good one. Not too gory, just fucking weird.

another little clause to add to my criteria.. i dont like scary movies that are about real people, or serial killers.. not scary at all to me.. stuff like saw.. or scream.. good films.. but just mind numbing to me. but yeah ill check audition out, cheers

If you want pure -weirdness check out Uzumaki and Miike's Gozu.

My left (or was it right?) still twitches when someone even mentions Audition.

it's a sick movie and starts out slow, but tis worth watching..it definitely has some messed up scenes.

also Cannibal Holocaust probably the gorriest movie, but its not japanese.

ah i have cannibal holocaust on dvd, i wouldnt say its the goriest movie ever.. its just that 1 scene where the cannibals are eating that dood, its just very graphic and looks very real. the rest of the movie was a bit meh

lol yes i did.. so i guess thats all 3 boxes ticked . just a shame it was sooo low budget, would have been infinitely better if there was some visual hardgore .

not a bad movie tho.. i DID watch it all

Audition and Ichi the killer are the only two gory ones I've seen.

Ones I know of are:

The Machine Girl (ft. the infamous drill bra... the trailer is quite hilarious)
