Who do you REALLY want to see at Piknic this year?

Been thinking about this, and I feel like some DJs, given their particular styles, would seem more at home playing outdoors on a generally-relaxed Sunday afternoon. With that said, here are a few artists I think would be just super for the next Piknic:

Move D
Guy Gerber
Luciano
Johnny D
Robert Hood (closing set obviously, as long as possible!)

Obviously there are others but if any one of those 4 shows up, I'll be happy. Also I wouldn't be surprised if Loco Dice will be on the menu again, seeing as how he ended up getting canceled last year.

Looking at those wishlists, makes me so happy that the underground EDM is alive and kicking in Montreal. And that we can actually not only wish, but expect some of those names to even play here.

Piknic is our pride and joy, and I will always do my best to help the organisation because the better they do, the more we have an healthy, young, educated scene that don't fall into the obvious stereotyped music. (hmm.. maybe healthy was not the best word, but you know what I mean).

I will also add that i'm glad to see a lot of locals doing great recently and getting more play time in clubs like Bender, Maher, Greg, Viktor, X-Cube, Maus, Mateo (the return)... and may I add my new favorite: Michel Lloyd. (and a lot more names but can't name them all, please don't be offended)...

I hope that somehow, locals will be able to have a lot of space to shine at Piknic this year. Because through good times and bad times, they are the heart of this city.

This will be an awesome year for Piknic and EDM, I can feel it.

I agree with ravemontreal comment, local djs represent our city and they have talent. We should support them more than internationnal artists. For local djs,my choices are already named,international artists,I'll say trentemoller, apparat, ellen allien, christian smith, carl cox, ben sims. After 5-6 years, please stop dreaming for sven vath,get over it.
