Officially a permanent resident of Canada!

As some of you knew, I was waiting for my immigration application to go through for the past few months - I was finally approved at the end of January, received my permanent resident visa last week and today we made the trip to US-Canadian border to complete my "landing".
I'm now officially 100% legal permanent resident just waiting for the PR card to come in mail.
Countdown to citizenship is 1 year in my case, cannot wait!

..just thought I'd share

thanks everyone so excited.. a few more things need to be done (new SIN, OHIP etc) but otherwise all set can't wait to be traveling without visas!

I've been a PR here for 30 years...

Never bothered with citizenship...

Now, I resent the fact that I have to go through the red tape and 400 bucks plus for citizenship...

Shit man... I paid 38000 In taxes last year alone...

Been through EVERY level of a school here and they want me to take a stupid test???

They should just give me the damn thing...

But the no visa thing would be sweet...
