Top 5 MIXES

Mix, remix, remake, whatever you call it, list your top 5 mixes ever that compared to the original tracks are just 10x better:

1. Moogwai - Viola (Armin van Buuren Remix)
2. Subtle By Design - Sirius (DJ Ti�sto Remix)
3. Utah Saints - Lost Vagueness (Oliver Lieb Dub Mix)
4. Solar Stone - Seven Cities (Solar Stones Atlantis Mix)
5. DJ Ti�sto - Theme From Norefjell (Magikal Remake)

I didn't pick the remixes out of how horrible the song was to start out with (although that played a part of it) but lots of reasons. Here are my explinations:

1) Delerium feat. Sarah McLaughlan - Silence (DJ Tiesto's In Search of Sunrise)
- Turned Silence into a song w/ from promising vocals to THE most massive vocal track ever.

2) William Orbit - Barber's Adagio for Strings (Ferry Costen Remix)
- Somehow made this track more touching, more beautiful, and definately uplifting. A remix masterpiece.

3) Moogwai - Viola (Armin van Buuren Remix)
- Turned shit into gold.

4) Vengaboys - Kiss (Airscape Remix)
- Remixing Vengaboys is basically making your own song, and this one is massive.

5) Gouryella - Tenshi (Transa Remix)
- Making a Gouryella track much much much better is a hard feat, this did it.

Honerable Mention: Pet Shop Boys - Home & Dry (Blank & Jones Remix)
for actually making the PSB vocals sound good! (and the sweet synth doesn't hurt either!)

dude... Atlantis mix IS the Original mix.
and Norefjell (Original Mix) is 10x better than the remake...

And... WHAT?!!!!!! Theme from Norefjell (Original mix) better? Are you sure you are talkin about the right one? The Magikal Remake is the one featured on Tiesto�s video, and is a masterpiece, compared with the original. (imho)

madonna - what it feels like to be a girl (above & beyond mix)
gouryella - tenshi (transa mix)
the space brothers - everywhere i go (PvD remake)
push - the legacy (club mix)
dave matthews band - the space between (tiesto mix)

Definetly 2 of my fav remixes
Madonna coz it tured a madonna song ( not exactly what I'd call my style ) into a really good track, and the transa remix of tenshi coz it made an already ace song into somethin better
Other fav remixes:

Joykitikonti - Joyenergizer (Mauro picotto personal remix)
I like this remix alot more than the club mix, jus coz its, well, more fun

Minimalistix - Close cover (Svenson & Gielen remix)
I got goosebumps when I heard this! Much more energetic melody IMO

Ayla - Ayla (DJ taucher remix)
A classic remix, more chilled out than the veracocha remix, which in its self was good, but this remix is preffered
