Question about big-name artist remixes

Let's say i want to remix a big-name artist song (pop or rock, whatever) but i don't have a vocal of that particular song. What should i do? The artists surely dont provide me with dry vocals.

if you were going to do a legitimate remix, you would request the multitrack from the artist which would have the vocal in it

Alternatively, cut and paste from the original.
