Where the heck does everyone hear about new songs?!?
Ahoi-hoi kids -
Maybe it's because there's no clubs worthwhile in my area, or maybe it's because I'm just inept. But where in the heck does everyone hear new tunes that come out? I swear like every other post on this board is about a new jam that I've never heard of, or some jam that isn't even released yet! Not that I am complaining, because that's half the reason I come to this board. But I'd like to be on the ground level and be one of those "first to know" kind-of deals! Can anyone help me out?
Thanks true believers.

www.ivibes.nu Im sure some people get there info from there. Its got whats being remixed, by who, new releases, and trance news. People also learn about new track by downloading mixes and looking at the tracklisting since dj's will get tracks before they are released (on the internet and in stores), however these are mixed.
yup, orbax is right
on tranceaddict.com of course...you just gotta hang out with the right ppl.

Some ppl are in the mp3 scene, and get all the latest releases on mp3 (ie: promos) Website's like www.trance.nu , www.ivibes.de , www.xpander.nl are good places to check out for upcoming tunes. Same with livesets, like Armin van Buuren's State of Trance sessions every week along with Paul van Dyk's Soundgarden shows. John Digweed plays alot of progressive promo's on his Kiss100 show once a week. Hope this helps

I think you guys are getting a little off topic here.
What I do is go to planetxusa.com, which allows you to search by date. Every day, go to the site and listen to each sample from everything released that day. If you miss a day, just search for yesterday's date... this way, not a single release escapes you!
IVibes, Trancegate, DJ livesets, this board, and yourself. I've found great tunes just looking for artists that I like
