Investing In Ear Plugs..

I'm looking to FINALLY invest in some custom made ear plugs. I'm looking for one's that take down the DB -10 or -15.. Does anyone know of a place in Austin or San Antonio that can make or order the correct ear plugs? Any help would be appreciated!!

Definitely call this guy. I have some from him. The only thing I would recommend is getting 9 db reduction instead of 15, unless you don't want to be able to hear conversations while in a club.9 should be plenty

Allan Franklin made mine:

He did excellent work and I had them within a couple of weeks.

Unfortunately, due to small ear canals, I lost some upper frequencies when they were in so I ended up getting the Ety Plugs (ER20) for small ear canals ($12), which work very well.

Jason does a great job and its worth the trip to Dallas. I've gotten several pair from him. Chris Fortier got his from Jason as well.

The only problem... I lost all of mine... all at WMC. 3 years in a row.

I would wear mine when mixing on crappy monitors... Work like a charm. 9db will work imo.

Yo. These are the ones that I use all the time. They bring down 20 db's and trust me they don't muffle out conversation. Last time I wore them was at above and beyond. I am glad that I did. Because that music was pumping out that night. I had absolutly no ringing in my ears the next day because of these baby's. They are cheap also.
Read up about them
