Giant Thursdays in OC moving yet again?

I see they're moving over to Red in Newport (formerly Tentation?). Any good reasons why? Thought they wanted higher capacities?

This was only a matter of time. When I went for Mauro Picotto, there was more people in the hip hop room than in the main room. Sad but true. I also heard of a lot of shaddy issues with the owners.

to be honest. its hard to find a solid venue. i imagine that most venues in the OC are concerned about alcohol sales and the EDM crowd is not a drinking crowd.

me too.. i live right off macarthur so i love going to ten and taking a 5 min cab ride home .... just bought my tickets for sander van doorn and sharam!!!

I liked heat a million times better. Contrary to popular beliefs, the staff was always super friend with my girlfriend and I. Never had any issues there.

i understand almost nobody on here knows who the fuck myself or my friends are, but we're going to be playing at heat on thursdays starting april 9th. it's going to be FREE to get in, and we have a few tricks up our sleeve with some djs we know. i'm not ignorant and stupid enough to pretend we can even compete at any level with giant, but we're going to get in there and have a hell of a time for as long as we can get away with it.

going to be opening at sutra on saturdays soon too, and there are a lot of changes coming to that venue. honestly look forward to meeting some of you!
