16.000 records stolen from Precisions house!
Taken from his homepage:
There happened something terrible! Last night, over 16.000 records where stolen from DJ Precision's house! His whole collection now is gone. The collection contained records from 1990 till now. And there were a lot of very exclusive records in his collection, because of his job as storemanager @ Only-DJs.com and A&R manager at the label BPM-Dance. The collection contained records like very limited double packages from Perfecto, Positiva etc, but also a real huge amount of old promo's from labels like Bonzai, Lost Language, Black-Hole etc.
The thieves broke in into his garage, where he has his complete collection records stored and they stole em all. Only three boxes with records were found after the theft in a ditch, everything else is gone. The police has set up an investigation on this case.
Now we are calling you all for help. If you are able to purchase a high amount of collector's items or old promo's somewhere in or near the Netherlands, let us know. The crime was committed in Gouda, so if someone in the Rotterdam area wants to sell you a lot of records for a very low price, please contact us. You can email Precision ([email protected]), me ([email protected]) or write something in the guestbook if you wanna be anonymous. Please help us if you found out something that can be related to this case!
It will proberbly be minded to the .nl ppl.. but feel free to post comments or mail one of the 2 mails if u find any dude selling old rare stuff for a dollar each
Some of u may know Precision, from local party's and big events.. hes running bpm-dance (label) and the headmastah of the online record store only-djs

OOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH!!
i really feel sorry for him! Man this sucks!! And as manager from Only-Djs he sees 1000s of records go through his hands every day... aaahhh must be painfull
check his homepage
i want a reward, like free records for a year or sommat. then ill get his choonz back
damn that sucks!
and yes, my sympathy is with him
it must of took hours and lots of men to load 16,000 records. I can only imagine how heavy they were (especially those lp's) Only - dj's must have a shitty alarm system to guard there precious records. If they had a security camera, or a guard on duty it could have been prevented. For no one in the neighborhood to see these theives steal 16,000 records seems pathetic. I just hope those theivs get caught.

god, i have to say that you must be stupid to keep all your colelction in a garage, its the most common place tha burglars go for. i keep all my choons in my bedroom, all locked up to. they mean more to me than the house im living in. still feel sorry for the guy though, id be gutted to loose my 500 collection let alone 16,000

Yep also think that's strange!
I carried once 2000 records in a bigger car and my car was nearly on the ground, so heavy they are!
For 16.000 records they really had to come with a truck, also to carry the boxes into the truck must take some time!
Naja hope for him he gets his records back!

He is probably beating himself up now. Imagine going into a room where you spin and you have 16,000 records to your leisure and now you have a couple of hundred. |
and looks like he didnt have a dog to bite the thiefs arses off
do you people have any idea just how big 16,000 records is? it must've taken those thieves a really long time to load all that, fuck!

It seems pretty dim that he will get his records back...The theives will have headed out the country man....They will be selling those records at cheap prices...
Precision cant have been at home because it would have took ages to load theose 16000 tunes into a lorry or summit...

| Originally posted by nate735 It had to have been a truck. It sure wosn't a moped lol. If he had insurance on those records then there shouldnt be such a big problem. Just hope that he had insurance. Maybe he wanted them to get stolen (insurance scam) lol im just jooking .... |

Ok, good it's posted here aswell already. I'm know Precision and the webmaster of his site (which isn't finished yet, we just started with it last week). The police is on the case now.
The records are probably stolen with at least 2 trucks. It had to be someone who knew the records were stored overthere, else you don't go to a garage with 2 trucks. When it all happened, Precision and his wife weren't at home, so they couldn't hear a thing. Let's hope they will be found back, although the chance is pretty small I think
And the garage was locked very carefully. It's build against the house. I know there is a difference between garage and garage, but this one was a solid one, with same walls/doors etc as the house.
A lot of the stuff was really exclusive, you will never be able to buy it orso. It's not only the financial damage, that can always happen, it's more the emotial damage you have with this
Check here for updates when we got more info.
Well, maybe the guys that stole all the records weren't some dumb asses... maybe they knew exactly what they were going for and maybe they know what's rare and worth the money and what's not.
In either case, if he gets his records back, that will be just pure luck, like winning a lottery... and I would sure as hell have an alarm system or a camera for something that precious! Cuz it took those guys at least a couple of hours to clear that collection up, and a few trucks too (single truck couldn't handle the load)...
Then again, I sure hope he gets that back...
16'000 wow. I get very possevive over my mere 350. Really feel sorry for the guy. A lot of hard work must have gone into that collection. T he good that can come out of this is that he gets his records back or someone gives them all to me for free.
