So, this is the "whatever happened to...?" and whatever you wanna ask... maybe someone has an answer.

I'll go first...

Whatever happened to the DJ Bob Motabadfjh;laksdhf???

he was here one minute and now he's gone... heard he's backpacking in the Australian outback eating grubs and peyote.

(sucka... thats revenge for the facebook comments)

but

whatever happened to feelgood ent (thanks Lynds)? a bay area rave promoter. they put on "A love affair", "MegaBuzz" and other massives over at homebase.

anyone???

I thought that was "Feelgood Entertainment" (i went to all those.. heh ) the dude who ran that now owns Whisper nightclub in SF... I think that whole thing stopped when raves became illegal in Oakland..

he's still out in Florida. He last played at circus when spundae was still there about 2-3 years ago. WEAK!

She's still doing gigs in the UK and abroad, but she was so tapped in to Hard House (bouncy hoovers and horns sound etc.) that when that scene imploded a few years back I don't think she moved on as well (unlike others like Mauro Picotto did by moving to Techno etc.).

i know people who liked his edc 08 and etd.fright 08 sets and theyre all pvd haters anyway pvd @ central park 07 has been my favorite so far esp friday when it was raining! he really loves nyc!

Good one. My favorite trance cd of all time is his "Session 1" mix on the ICU lable. Used to see him play all the time. Interesting mixing technique.

Since there's so much NorCal stuff on here....whatever happened to Cyberfest put on by Coolworld? I went in 2000 and 2001 as my yearly massive. The one in 2000 was held at a farming convention center in Fresno and was hands down the best massive I've been to. Didn't like it so much at the Cow Palace the next year. Reguarless it was a great event with amazing line-ups.

the one in Fresno was initially supposed to be in San Jose but had to change b/c of a high number of OD's at a prior event called Quest. After quest crackdown is when all the anit-rave laws started taking affect.
