Looking for feedback on my first song

So I've been playing around with all sorts of software for a few months now, but I finally decided to actually sit down and make a full track. I would really love to hear any kind of feedback people have on it. Just be kind please

Also sorry in advance if this is the wrong forum for this. If so please direct me to where I should go.

The noise rhythm-hiss seems a little out of place, because it seems lo-fi in comparison to the synthwork...But I like where it's going! Nice and brooding.

Really like your track - a lot. The synth programming and layering is great. Wher I find the track falls down is the percussion. The kick doesn't sound right, the rhythm of the hiss does not fit in with the tracks percussive arrangement. I like the overall element programming but the percussion needs to be more complimentary of the synths, and provide the drive they are begging for.

Just my 2c, but good work - look forward to hearing it again.

Thanks is is very helpful and encouraging. I knew that percussion was the weak point. I only have one loop for the highs, one for the hiss, and then the kick. So I hadn't put a lot lot of time into it. Plus I haven't done anything to my samples. Before I was just planning on tweaking things a bit, and adding some more variation. Now I think I should go back to square one and learn how to modify the samples to get the sound I need. Maybe even completely rework the beat to give it more drive/kick.

I would definitely do that - the track as it stands just needs better drive and percussion. Listen to some Jaytech tracks - the way he builds percussion with heavily melodic synths parts would suit this track a lot. IMO, I would start the perc from scratch with a new punchy kick and give the the rest of the perc a prog style rhythm....but that's just me

I'm not going to do any sort of in-depth review as its your first track.
Its a great track for you first but you need to soften up the noise a bit. The hissing sounds too abrasive, maybe hi pass it a bit more, possibly phase it a tad and if its on a synth open the release just a bit.
It will give it a softer feel which would suit the track better.
