Trance at the Custard Factory, Birmingham

Played my first psy trance gig at the weekend, and it was by far the best gig I've ever played! It wasn't at a club where anyone was likely to know psy trance (they had drum and bass and electro in other rooms), but I think it worked well because it's so energetic, but doesn't have stupidly long breakdowns that stop people for dancing too long. It also doesn't suffer too much on a soundsystem that isn't much cop, because it's so full and well produced.

Tracklist was
1. John 00 Fleming - Rasa Lila (Anton Chernikov remix)
2. Chakra - Resurrection
3. Astral Projection - One
4. Triptych - Electrology (John 00 Fleming remix)
5. Wizzy Noise - Sea Song
6. Chakra - The Pretenders
7. Nicholas Bennison - Exocet (album rework)
8. Human Blue - A La Carte
9. The Digital Blonde - Legato (original)

I didn't actually record it on the night but a few people have asked me to re-do it. You can find it here

Please let me know what you think

Wish I'd been at your gig , it must have been bouncin' ! A full-bodied , full- blooded kick-ass set .Straight into the beat with an excellent first track and never let up. Fine selection of tunage, well crafted to weave a class mix .Thanks for the share mate .
