Roll Call: TA Lunch Meetup - Thursday

Who: Anybody
What: Lunch
When: Thursday, March 26....... 2:00PM
Where: Chili's Grill & Bar @ Bayside Marketplace
Why: Why not?

Lunch at Chili's right next to where the Sander/Desyn Yacht will be leaving from. Anybody is welcome to come as the restaraunt has assured me that they are not busy at this time of day, though they don't take reservations. Meetup is scheduled for 2:00PM, which will give enough time to order, eat, and relax just before boarding starts. I should be there by 1:45 to make sure we get some tables, hopefully on the balcony. LET'S DO THIS!!

I say we just start it at 1, if you can't make it until 2 that's fine. Like he said, this is a Thursday afternoon so it can't be too packed.

Remember we have to eat a lot to have plenty in our stomachs to handle an open bar session!

I might as well pop along too, meet some of the peeps on here. It'll be me and my buddy, so 2 of us. Maybe not at 1pm though, wanna get at much sleep in Weds night/Thurs to prepare for the 3 days of probably no sleep that will follow. So I'll make it there about 2ish.

just to let you guys know... that chili's is small as fuck. you might have a hard time getting a table big enough for all of you. esp since you're in downtown around the time when many office people go to lunch.

honestly i think you guys are better off at either the hooters there, but even that may be pretty packed, or just getting drinks/food at the court yard at bayside. itll be very easy getting a big group together there and they have plenty of places that sell drinks around bayside anyway.

Ok, I just talked to the restaurant down there and they said that the restaurant accomodates about 250 and has three seperate areas: Inside, Bar area, and Balcony. The guy said they are dead right now, which is usual for this time of day during the week. He said people usually clear out from the lunch rush by 1:30 and there shouldn't be a problem getting us in around that time. I told him I would get back to them in about a week or so to set it up. So let's continue the roll call for Chili's and if, for some reason, it doesn't work out there, then we will adjust to a different location when the time comes.
