bring your own lunch?
I like to bring my own because it's cheaper, healthier, and tastier!
My ideas:
I bring my lunch a good chunk of the time, they're usually a premade salad or a microwaved thing

Carpaccio FTW
I always bring my own lunch.
- turkey lettuce wraps (turkey breast and a couple slices of cheese + a bit of mayo wrapped in a lettuce leaf)
- grilled salmon
- steamed broccoli, green beans, or asparagus
- baked/garlic mashed sweet potatoes (my god do I love sweet potatoes)
- grilled chicken
- cottage cheese
- protein shakes
- almonds
And today I made a tomato stuffed with tuna + dill + diced celery + a bit of mayo.
Oh and lots of fresh salads.
Leftover dinner. Usually very good..
rice, pickles and chicken does the trick for me
i buy my lunch because im a lazy cunt.
I'm a bring my own lunch type of person unless I was just too lazy. One of our kitchen at work has an oven so i'm able to actually cook lunch which is awesomely fresh. I'm a huge fan of wraps and grilled veggies.
Iv just started uni and quickly realising how much money you waist if you don't just bring your own lunch (that is unless you find somewhere cheap and are willing to eat the same thing all the time).
Pretty much everything is based on leftovers.
-Pasta Salad from left over pasta + chicken/tuna and salad stuff (works best if you put some pasta aside without any sauce mixed in, just some oil so the pasta doesn't clump)
-Schnitzel rolls/sandwiches
-Tuna in a tin (not an appealing smell though)
Thats just what I had this week.
I gotta get a list of ideas and make some kind of el-cheapo cook book for lunches.
I am officially a uni bum
Yes because most places use unnecessary ingredients. It's impossible at some places not to find some sort of ****ish dressing, mayo or something shit on a sandwich. There is one exception which is a local bakery who send rolls out to shops freshly done & they're delicious.
i always take my own lunch, but i go to uni and have no fridge or cooking devices.
my lunch is basically fruit, museli bars and a tin of tuna
i usually take some yoghurt, an apple and a chicken or ham wrap with lettuce, cheese and mayo
8oz bag of sunflower seeds kernels for me.. You get around 1500 calories for $1.30
I always bring my lunch.
and it's usually whatever was left over from dinner the night before ![]()

I do this now, buying in the canteen was a massive waste of money.
I'll either bring a loaf of bread in and have peanut butter or Marmite sammiches for 2 days, or cook the following the night before:
Pasta salad (fusilli, tuna, mayo, sweetcorn, cherry tomatoes)
Various pastas to be heated in the work microwaves
Mexican bean & rice salad
Stir-fry
I also have a big tupperware of muesli in my work drawer, and have a 350ml thermos for bringing milk in, which gives me 2 bowls of muesli, breakfast, and afternoon at work.

never bring my lunch, just don't want to bother.
eating out usualy costs less than 10$, which is not that of a big deal.
I'm trying to stop buying food in the lunch court, it's raping my wallet.
I don't really eat lunch, so I suppose you could say I bring my own lunch, too.
