How long are your sets?

Hey folks,

How long are your sets? I generally record mine to be anything around 1.5 - 2hours, long enough....

I don't measure my sets based on time; I measure based on dreams and orgasms and combinations of both.

There's actually a special DJ set measuring device that's made by a Slovenian manufacturer, though I can't recall their name at the moment. They're made to order depending on the genre you play, and are obviously pretty pricey as a result. Moreso than say, a clock.

My sets are as long as the space between when I start and when I finish, fyi.

I usually last about 20 minutes. Although with enough concentration I can go for an hour.

ahahaha@!

I used to do 1hr, then 2hr, now I have a couple playlists of 3-4-5 tracks each. If I were to mix them, they'd be 20-40 minutes.

i used to play 90 minutes before. now i sold it all and plan to go digital and auto-bpm so i dont need headfones. this way i can do it all night beacuse it was always my ears tirening first.

Wha'eva

To the OP: in the end, it's not how long your set is that counts, it's how you use it! Don't feel bad about it.

unless you know your tracks by the second (or visually by waveform), you still need headphones.

I used to abide by the 80 minute limit... now I just don't care. The longer the better.

Posted by smekzg on Mar-07-2009 22:33:

mostly around 2 hours or more, depending on my inspiration.

I dont get enough time for play, i wish there was another day in the week so i could take it off and play music all day
