When did electronic music become so****?
On Friday I went to the best techno club in town where the music never disappoints. The first DJ played shit like Heater, the second didn't stray outside the beatport top 10, and the last literally could not beatmatch.
On Sunday afternoon I spent two hours on beatport and listened to precisely 405 songs. I purchased one.
On Sunday night I had the option of seeing Richie Hawtin...my weekend was saved! Against my recommendations, my friends decided that we were going to see Markus Schulz instead...cunts. I went with an open mind but had to leave after 45 minutes. Schulz was coked out of his brains and fist-pumping like an idiot whilst playing shit like this:
To cap it all off, the knob couldn't even mix and he was using a fucking laptop with Ableton! He kept running bass at nearly full volume in both channels during transitions. There's a thing called clipping you cocksucker! Also, the retard techs had set the rig up to run at ear-shattering levels, even at the furthest reaches of the club.
I always hated them when I saw them in my early days, but I cannot deny I'm anything but a jaded, cynical chinstroker now. Despite having a great chat with my mates tonight, I can honestly say I would rather have stayed home and listened to good music from ten years ago whilst wanking myself off and thinking: "man, I'm so incredibly knowledgeable about music, no one else these days gets it. It's all up to me. Thank god I have such good taste."
Is this another "TRANCE SUCKXS" thread underneath a different shell?
You have shit friends and you're an idiot.

This track sounds much better than most the minimal stuff out there tbh.

u said u left after 45 minutes, i hope u went to see Richie then? was it good or was he full of heroin as well.
Hawtin was a snooze fest and bodzin aftewards delivered some of the most tasteless techno that Ive ever heard & ive seen Dubfire and Steve Lawler B2b. Despite the large array of festivities this was not the weekend for Music in Melbourne

no way was schulz coked out of his brains, if u wanted to see someone coked out u should of stayed around when cokey oaky was on the dancefloor
fuck that was an awesome site
i actually really enjoyed schulz's set last night, he had to drop some of the bigger/harder tunes like full tiltin, durands remix of the fall ect to keep the crowd into it. It would of been better if the gig was not straight after a festival, where most of the people in the crowd couldn't even stand up straight. The crowd would of been the worst i have ever seen
