Recorded mix problem
I recently recorded a mix but silly me didnt notice the level was to high when recording it. To save doing it again, is there anything I can do with to remove the slight destortion?

Try putting the mix in audacity, Normalize the entire file, then Compress it. These are options under "Effect". See if that fixes your problem.
Cheers. I'll give it a try. And have learned my lesson about checking volume settings lol

nothing u can do but re-record the mix. You can't fix the distortion.
Thanks guys. Dont you just hate it when its the most perfect mix and that happens!! lol
I had this problem also. I tried to reduce the volume level after the recording, but the distortion remained in the tape. I just had to re-record the whole thing again.
