Airbase Lesson 008: Let's get started

I get a lot of questions on this topic, so let's cover some basics in Ableton Live, specifically how to use Session View vs Arrangement View.
Presented in 720p using Ableton Live 7

Head over to http://www.airbasemusic.com then go to the menu Community and click Tutorials

If you like them, I'll keep posting them. Feel free to suggest things you want me to do tutorials on at my website.

Be Cool!

Good stuff, I'd have killed for this tutorial a couple years ago when just starting out with the abes.

Nice! It doesnt look that hard to lay down track after all! I had a hard time to get my head around that
way of arranging tracks. I have to try the demo once more. It would be nice to have two different ways of
working, so I wont get tired so easily.
Thanks once more for the informative stuff you put out!

Put your cursor to the left of the piano keys so that it turns to a magnifying glass. Click and hold, then move the mouse to the right. It's similar to arrangement view except you move left and right instead of up and down.

Dude, I hope you're being sponsored by Live - or at least getting their product for free. If not, there's something wrong with this picture. Your name is also not listed on "producers" page on Ableton - that's a gross oversight.

I'd love to be sponsored by Live, but I'm a peasant. They don't know who I am. Feel free to let them know
