San Francisco record shops
I'll be in San Francisco for a few days for the Throbbing Gristle concert. Can anyone recommend some record shops (electronic music oriented) to check out? I tried looking on search engines and found what looked to be some decent ones, though, I couldn't tell if they have what I really want.
amoeba music has everything under the sun
tweekin records is all EDM centric
skills in Berkley is EDM centric
otherwise no more vinyl shops

Havev't been to SF too many times, but I remember going to little Frequency 8 when Mars used to tend shop. They actually opened a great shop in Westwood that lasted about a year round 2001/2002. I was in there every other week.
I also used to order online from an SF place called Big Bang Records. Anyone else use them?
God I miss records and record shopping. One of my favorite things to do. Oh the good old days

I used to only buy my Vynle from DanceRecords.com They are based out of Ncali, so you would get your records in like a day.
But I have to say my favorite record store of all time in LA was WAX on melrose! Sorry off topic, but still..
what is this record shop thingy you speak of?

Wax closed down... So did most of the stores on Melrose. I don't know about groove records on ventura blvd. But yea with the LA scene going to shit in 03-05 it really killed off a lot of stores :-(
