Dunno SoCal TA looking for NoCal advice for this weekend!

So I'll be heading up NORTH for the very first time right after the Digweed show here in LA on Wednesday. I think I have my partying set as I have seen flyers for the event at 1015 on friday and then Ruby Skye on Saturday for Steve Angello...any other alternatives?

What do you advise as far as things to do during the day? Thing is, I will be in a city called Burlingame at the Airport Marriot so it appears as though I may be far away, from San francisco? Any suggestions would be appreciated. As it is I mapped the clubs and I will be about 15 miles away. It would be nice to stay a bit more local during the day to check out sites, etc. I'll jump online right now to see what I can find but if you guys have any ideas, please let me know!! Thanks.

cancel your hotel in burlingame and get a room in SF!

during the day in sf you will have plenty to do. burlingame....not so much.

DJ blurr is the guy to message for Guestlist for Jon O'Bir.

I'll post saturday nights list later in the week.

Just look at the events thread stickied at the top. It has a listing of all the major parties this weekened.

Friday

Christopher Lawrence @ Spundae (Ruby Skye)
Jon O'bir @ Zendada (1015 Folsom)

Saturday

Steve Angello @ Mixed Elemented (Ruby Skye)

There's also an 18+ event (with bars for 21+) at Kelly's Mission Rock on Saturday. Has Vibrasphere, which appeals to me, but it being 18+ will keep me away.

Anyhow, look at that thread and you'll get an idea of what's going on...

Yeah, don't stay in Burlingame (it's a nice place to relax, but that's about it). Just fly into SFO (assuming you're flying) and take the BART into the city.

Thanks for the responses and the link DaveT.

My buddy's company is putting him up at the Airport Marriot in Burlingame so I dont have a say there. It looks like I may just venture out to San Fran early and check out the sites and make a day out of it. I'll make sure to take it easy as I want to save my energy for the weekend. I hear you guys up North really party it up! I want to check it out first hand. Really looking forward to this.

$60 for a room in the SOMA(good hotel-seriously thats the name lol) and you can get all your day activities in and crash in SF and do more the next day. If youre going to be in town for a few days, i'd recommend that so you can do an overnight friday. a taxi from burlingame and back is $60+ (16 miles each way. $3.50 to get in and $0.45 per 1/8th of a mile)

you can do caltrain to bart but i do believe there is no all night service, so thats the down of being so far away from the city. The SFTA's will treat you well though!
