Ableton - Ignoring Parameter Changes?

Got a situation here.

I'm using M51 Galaxy VST in Ableton. For some reason that I can't fathom, the vst's graphical level meters have their own midi parameters (Paramater #62 and Parameter #63)

So, every time a sound plays through the VST, Parameters 62 and 63 are altered, which completely messes up my undo history. That is, if I delete or change something in the project while even the tiniest amount of sound is coming out of the vst, the change is thrown wayyyy back in the undo history due to Parameters 62 and 63 changing.

Is there any way to get Ableton to completely ignore changes to those parameters? I've tried setting automation to 0 for both params for the entire clip that uses the VST but the undo history is still packed with changes to 62 and 63.

Sounds like the midi clips you have playing contains midi CC alterations.

Have the same problem in Ableton with Crysonic Spectra-Q, I think it's also CC 62 and 63 !

...strange bug :S

I've had a plugin with similar behavior. It was constantly changing something which I couldn't figure out. Kinda annoying, because after saving a project and wanting to close it, these changes would continue on an alter the project asking me if I wanted to save it again. Constant loop and confusing at times.

the clips have a option to go to a certain bank and certain preset number, its down the bottom left when you double clip the clip, click the "E" and you should see it

Airbase, the midi alterations are coming from the level meters inside the VST itself. Unfortunately, there's no way to turn them off or have Ableton ignore those parameters.

Looks like I'll just have to freeze the track until i'm done.
