Question Wich plug-ins?

Hi ,

I need some plug-ins that I can use in Logic Audio. I'm looking for a good compressor plug in, a reverb plug-in and an enhancer/exciter plug-in.

I need a compressor for compressing single tracks, and a compressor for compressing the whole mix. It has to add warmth to the sound.

I prefer an all-round reverb plug-in, so that I can use it for different things. I tried the Timeworks plug-in, the Silverspike, and the reverb from the Native Powerpack from TC but I'm not really excited about them.

I don't know much about enhancers/exciters but I just need a good one. One that sounds proffesional.

Can somone tell me wich plug-ins I should try out? I will going to use them on Trance and Proggressive Trance tracks.

Thanks for the help,

Ben

What version of logic do you use?

At least platinum has excellents reverb and compressor plugins.

I've tried them before also but I wasn't really excited. I couldn't get a sound fit in a mix with the reverb when I tried it, and I compared the Logic compressor with the C1 compressor from Waves, but I thought the Waves was warmer. But I will try them again when I'm back in my studio.

I fortot to mention that I'm looking for a warm equalizing plug-in also.

Thanks

try T-racks. It's a masering software with compressor, eq and limitor. It's supposed to add that *tube* warmth.

It's nice I use it on all my tracks.

Thanks attacc . I will try T-racks out.
I've listenend to the Logic Audio reverb a couple of times now b.t.w, and I have to say it sounds better then the other reverbs I've listened to. I will going to use it if I won't find something better.

I'm still open for other suggestions.

well, mate, their is a couple of plugins that many find better than the t-racks.... And if you're planning to buy it, u get a lot more value for your money with ether of these:

PSP_MixPack_v1.6_DX_and_VST
PSP_StereoPack_v1.6_DX_and_VST
PSP.VintageWarmer.v1.1

or the:
Waves.Native.Gold.Bundle.v3.5

psp are a company from poland that has some really good programmers that understand what audio i all about.. highly recomandable...

http://www.psp.l.pl/

Both these solutions will suit all your needs for compression for single instruments as well as the whole track. the psp got other veryu useful effekts in trance/progressive (like the psp mixbass) that I find very useful...

ohh...I almost forgot... To complete the line, get SparksFX
