As Ted Promo once said to me...

"The V6's are ridiculous, they must have to kill about 6 baby manatees to make just one."

Haha
just wait until you see how big the power supply is!
Plus- the connections are underneath, not on the rear, so I hope you have somewhere to put it.
Superb mixer though

You have no idea how many setups are complete over kill on here for bedroom use. No idea...

(including mine)... But it's nice owning the toys, that's all it comes down to.

just my 2c

Posted by Omega_Blue on Mar-13-2009 04:26:

can i come over and play with it?

Posted by Imagin on Mar-13-2009 07:27:

Posted by tubby on Mar-13-2009 14:15:

what's the rest of the setup?

Posted by Acton on Mar-13-2009 14:28:

I assume your next purchase will the the EQ station that goes with it!?

Another £458,656,532 for you to spend!

Needs more blinking lights.

get the A&H VF1 filters as well.

why didn't you just get the S6? A&H actually currently sells those.

was the v6 discontinued because of lead poisoning issues? or they just didn't sell enough 'cause it was too expensive?

1) I have no idea where I'm going to put, I have to buy a rackmount system of some kind. or *gasp* build some dj furniture

2) of course its overkill, thats the point!! I got it for 2500 euros, the guy bought it for 4500. As n3lly said its nice owning toys and I've always believed music is the best investment you can make. On a practical note however once I get my room soundproofed I'll be starting a mastering/mixdown service which is where this thing will really shine.

3) omega: of course you can =) in fact I can't wait to rock some Chicago summer rooftop parties with this thing...

4) I think I'll skip the crossfader/eq/filter add-ins (it already has hp filters!), I mix in the box in ableton with midi anyway so I'm getting this more for the fun of playing with vinyl...and of course it will add some massive front-end to my tracks/mixes.

5) the s6 is for pussies, I wanted the valve tubes. unfortunately, I got an older version that only has tubes on channels 5+6 and not all 6 =( something tells me I'll still manage to survive though...

5) I really hope I don't get lead poisoning from this thing!!!!
