seriously man, this is the 2k9 whats with these dial up restrictions?

Note: the maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 35000 bytes (whichever is smaller).

WAT? ok lets allow a GIGANTIC as fuck avatar but oh wait, size cant be bigger then a fucking text file. cool bro. 34k is the the biggest, that's pretty awesome! how about we bump that shit double, better yet make it

85k = 696320 bytes.

Max Size: 50,000 bytes (Cumulative TOTAL for ALL images in sig)
Max Height: 150 (Cumulative Total for ALL images in sig)
Max Width: 500 (Cumulative Total for ALL images in sig)

also, who the fuck uses bytes to measure shit anymore? nobody uses that shit fuck sakes i have to bust out my calculator to do the math.

You literally took minutes out of your day to complain about something as insignificant as how big your "signature" and "avatar" can be on an internet forum so that you could better "express your persona."

and regard to b. i am on some others that don't have lame as fuck restrictions and i enjoy it quite a lot.
