Just to let everyone know first, I still never bought my first set....

I found a nice deal from my friend's girlfriend including Technics 1200s (barely used for 3 months) and an American DJ Mixer (3 channel)....I don't know the exact model yet.....and this with the necessary accessories to spin....for (USD)$700...

I'm just not to sure about the mixer though!?!

decks are good, mixer is shit.

get them to knock some off the price and say you don't want the mixer. or, if they won't, then buy it anyway, it's a good deal.

the mixer will do you for a while, but you will need to upgrade it, american DJ sucks.

I have an american Dj qd-3 battle mixer, and it is solid. Some american dj mixers sux, but then some are sweet, Like I would still rather have a vestax 275 or pioneer, but what can you do sometimes you just have to get what you can afford. like they arent bad and as long as its not the complete low end model it should be fine for a beginner.

id put the mixer on ebay and get a few bucks for it and keep the tables... $700 for a set of 1200's isnt bad at all!

yes.. i have an american dj mixer and its a piece of shit.. but its hella old too, but i mean it works, its just not fun to use.

thanks for the input guys, I didn't think the mixer would be that great either, but I wanted to eventually get 1200s and the price is good! the equipment is virtually new
