-- text to sound? HELP!
text to sound? HELP!
does anyone know how armin makes the intro/narrator voice on his ASOT episodes? i want to do something similar in a mix but i'm not sure what software would be best. most text-to-speech things i have seen have a very limited selection of voices. any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
Microsoft Sam for the win!
Why don't you just record your own and play with it in a DAW using various effects until you get your desired sound.

there are tens of hundreds of sites on the internet that let you type something into a box and it will speak it out in whatever kind of accent/voice you want and save to .wav
google
it's not text to speech on ASOT, radio stations actually have voice over people that do those things
^^ hehe - who knew?

I just thought it was common knowledge that there were people that got paid just to do promo voice work. Apparently not.
What about the new iPod shuffle? =P
and this whole time i thought the guy who did voice overs for movie previews was just a computer somewhere....
