Shooting at Guv

This just gave the coppers a good reason to bust Guv's balls

It happened around 2:45am at the Guvernment club at Queen's Quay East and Jarvis. The first victim, a 26-year-old man, was just leaving the washroom when he heard what he described as a "loud pop." Like many people inside, he dropped to his knees. But it wasn't enough. He was hit in the arm and someone called police. He was taken to hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Sometime later, a second victim walked into a Toronto hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg. The 28-year-old man was shot at the same club, but officers have determined that the shootings weren't related. In fact, police believe the gunman or gunmen were aiming for others and the two victims were unintentionally hit. But there's still no word on who fired the weapons or why. 3 people wounded, all of whom are innocent bystanders? You know, if you hold the gun upright instead of sideways, you can use the iron sights and hit what you're shooting at.

Seriously though, probably stems from some silly percieved snub...like some look across the bar or stepping on someone's shoe.

If the gun is small enough it wouldn't be hard to get through no matter how tight the search, especially with the baggy clothing people tend to wear on 'hip hop night'

cant directly fault the security cuz 1 gun gets through, cant be perfect!

plus theres probably a good chance this person got in through a friend through a back door or something, who knows

ha! security is one of the few things in life that HAS to be perfect. If they can find random small objects crammed in my girls bra, I'm sure if they opened heir eyes they could find a big piece of metal, regardless of how james bond it is.

My doctor is less invasive during a physical then some of the security guards....I jokingly asked one of the security guards if she would at least by me a drink afterwards....she didn't laugh.
