Also sometimes we still do the drink to movies game. Watch star wars, and drink every time R2 D2 beeps, or Top Gun, and drink every time someone calls another by their call name. Whenever my old college roommate comes to town we play 'horse' in Tony Hawk pro skater, and drink every time you get a letter.

he got a suspended sentence, had to give lectures and was banned from driving for a bit unless it was to work, the shops or to give one of his lectures

yeah it is a card game. Basically you play the 52 cards and deal them around the table. red 10 is the highest card and closes a set, so for example someone stars like 2, then someone else plays 3, then 4, or whatever...the one who gets rid of his cards first is president, second is vice president, third is neutral, 4th is vice asshole 5 is asshole..so it does takes some strategy iknowing when to drop what or when to start with what in order to get rid of your cards..then you re deal and the vice asshole trades his highest card with the lowest card of the vice president and the asshole trades his two highest cards with the president.
there are also some drinking rules attached to some of the cards that get thrown in, but these vary so im not going to post them.
