Carerra 2 vs Freaky Runaway. Your thoughts

I just listened to both of the new releases from 3 Drives and i actually prefer Freaky Runaway to Carrera 2. Does anyone else think that FR is a better tune? To me it's a far more driving tune then Carrera 2, it's got more subtle melodies and key's then Carrera 2 which is a bit too overpowering for me. Your thoughts?

I'm personally a bigger fan of freaky runaway, but I think they are both excellent productions.

i like Carrera 2 better but the best track i've ever heard from them is still Sunset On Ibiza (Original Mix)

I prefer carrera 2, although im glad both will be on the same vinyl (no?)
one of my friends said something funny, the sample used on carrera 2 sounds like a non cheesy version of the guitar one used by ATB on 9pm and such.

I love both of them, and I cant really decide which one more than the other Three Drives rule!

Gouryella Gouryella is just FUCKING MASSIVE! The synths are NOT CHEESE, maybe you don't like Uplifing if you don't like Gouryella. Actually, I didn't like Gouryella Gouryella my first listen, and now it's my favorite!!! It has every thing, great melody, great breaky beat, and just a huge tune.

I just say to you "If you don't like either of them, you don't like uplifting trance".

hmm weird i thought the melody in carrera 2 was anything BUT dark
but like i said in my thread before in regard to freaky runaway anyone feel the melody in the build ups is from greece 2000 i dunno i think it defeinitly is the same melody reworked from greece 2000 i still like it alot its a good tune more progressive i feel tho

Posted by TimeportE on Jun-14-2002 11:37:

a question: what happend to the ad: (three drives) on a vinyl ??
and i like both tunes but my fav would be carrera 2! but it ain't uplifting (like said before: too dark! )

I like Carrera 2, but I dont think its brilliant though.

Thing is, I first heard it on Tiesto @ Dance Dept 250502. (I think thats the date), and its between Evolution - Walking on Fire (Original), and Solar Stone - Solar Coaster. So it was sorta eclipsed by those two.
