Stasis - Bend [Techno]
Hey guys, this is a mix I made about a month ago for some friends here at school. They wanted to know what it is I really 'did', so this mix was originally just for them, and I didn't care too much that I put on some tracks that are played-out to anyone who pays attention to those sorts of things. That's why there's stuff like "The Sun Can't Compare" and "Beautiful Life" on here. Anyway, that's my pre-emptive hedging, etc.
Check it out, and I hope you enjoy it! (and yes, I was trying to rip off Global Underground for the back cover)

Thanks dudes
i'll grab this once I get back to school.
Overplayed tunes or not, this looks very tasty. Will grab when I get home ![]()
Will check it out
I really wanted to like this one but it seemed a bit hollow for me in the end. I don't know what it was, probably the fact that I'm rather jaded with most dance music anymore.
Mixing was well in and whatnot but I think it comes down to personal taste for me and it was just mmmmmmeh.
Nifty cover though
think this is gonna be nice in the car with my housemates, nice one
Gonna check this out.
Been on the stream for about half an hour, definitely my cup of tea.![]()
Thanks for the comments!
Any feedback from Mark is a major compliment. Ted, sorry to hear you weren't feeling it, but definitely thanks for listening--that's always better than indifference to me. Also glad to hear the mixing wasn't too far off--I'm still using a pair of 10 year old Gemini CDJ-20s and a denon mixer, so it can be a little wonky sometimes
