Dubfire Selects Boom Boom Room Resident Matt Herdman as Opening DJ for WMC!!!!

I'm at work at the moment and, so, I cannot post the full article--it is available at the beatportal website-- but here is the short and sweet version:

Beatportal.com, the people behind the DJ software Traktor, and Dubfire recently put together a competition. Contestants were invited to submit a 30 minute DJ mix that had to be arranged via Traktor for a chance to be chosen as the opening DJ for Dubfire's WMC performance. Over 60 entries were submitted and Dubfire selected Matt Herdman's mix as the winning set! Matt will be opening for Dubfire for WMC in Miami!

Matt Herdman is a good friend of mine. But more importantly, here are some deets about this DJ producer:
-Along with his partner Justin James, he runs the website OnesandZeroesLive.com: the site features over 30 exclusive sets from some of Toronto's and the world's top DJs/producers (e.g. Olivier Giacomotto, Sydney Blu, Carlo Lio, John Acquaviva, Wolfgang Gartner, and MC Flipside);
-He has had a number of major releases on John Acquaviva's Definitive Recordings;
-He is a resident DJ at Windsor's Boom Boom Room and plays regularly across the water in Detroit
-His track Wasted Intellect is featured in the video game Midnight Club: Los Angeles

Anyways, I just wanted to make this thread to congratulate Matt. He's an incredibly talented producer and I predict big things for him in the coming years.
