How many DJs know Tranceaddict.com

Hi TA's!

How many DJs over the world know Tranceaddict.com, i think PvD knows tranceaddict.com. Tell me more

I think quite a few are aware of it, some of them have even been here...

Pimenov, aka PPK (resurrection) has posted in the DJ boards...

Not too sure about who else has been here though .. I doubt many of them would come to a place that bases/ed itself on free music...

I dont know how many are actual members, but I think we would be surprised how many of them know about it. Didn't that asshole Jduge Jules mention it in an interview the other week???

AvB is a regular chat visitor. Ask Neo or Swamper. Plastic Angel IS a member, he came to plug his new stuff.

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of big name DJs and producers were here, posting under non-descript user names so as to avoid any suspicion

Armin reads , but doesn't post

Airbase. Ok, he's an producer...

Posted by frontebb on Jun-14-2002 17:01:

This is gay. I'm sure they don't have time for this bullshit when they are busy with their own message boards. And if they do happen to come across this, it's probably not them and someone else. Orr, they probably have someone else going thru message boards collecting comments. If they do or don't, who's gonna know?

Posted by trancaholic on Jun-14-2002 17:26:

From previous threads I've picked up the following: DJ Natron (Flutlicht & SHOKK), Above & Beyond, DJ Quicksilver, Rank 1, Ralphie B, Max Graham and Cosmicman. I don't know how many of them actually posts here or in the chat anymore.

Posted by crash@hun on Jun-14-2002 17:36:

well... I was wondering....i don't think they visit, i mean how do you know if they really are who they say they are...

according to armin, a lot of dj's check it out but don't post

Ralphie B posts on TA, he has made several posts and has been registered quite a while, He was in the TA chatroom also for a couple of hours a few nights back.
Armin veiws the forums but does not post, and many others including the ones named above plus Judge Jules, James Holden, Rhys Fulber (Conjure One, ex Delerium), Ferry Corsten, DuMonde, etc etc .
Lange also knows of TA.com but does not like it, long story that one . . .

Some wanted-to-do-good user (can't remember his nick) asked him if he would be interested in giving an interview, as he would write some kind of thingy about him for this site (I think). Unfortunately, he sent it from his @tranceaddict.net e-mail address and Lange, being a Internet-wiz, decided to check out www.tranceaddict.com.
He wrote an e-mail back, stating his dissatisfaction with tracks being available for download here (I seem to recall one of them was a Lange-track), and if that sort of thing wasn't illegal. The wanted-to-do-good user posted the reply in a thread in music-discussion and was consequently flamed for being stupid. That's about it, I think.

Btw. Accuface also comes here Swamper once told us.

Taken from Jules web site :

`The following day we headed to Bill Clinton's hometown of Little Rock Arkansas, only my second visit to the Southern states of the US. At dinner, the promoters amazed me with their encyclopaedic knowledge of my downloadable sets on Audiogalaxy.com and Tranceaddict.com. `

Posted by JohnSmith on Jun-14-2002 20:32:

that wasn't all that long of a story, and to tell the truth, it's pretty much what i expected.

I think Lange does have a point though, we should not be downloading tracks, if we want to support the scene.

Personally i just bought Lange - Drifting away on vinyl, and it sounds much better, and my conscience is much cleaner for it.

Don't disrespect m8. Give credit when it's due. When have you played at an event? (that's an angry face!) When have you hosted your own live radio streams? (and that's the devil!)

Respect.

dawn, I've always like your sets man. Keep up the good work.

As for DJs coming here and posting. I agree that it would be futile in their time frame to actually sit and read posts and type some too. But it is cool to think that these cool DJs come here and read our thoughts and opinions about themand everyone else.

hahhah, besides. If PvD came and posted that he WAS PvD, we'd all flame the crap out of him. hahah
