meditation questions
I want to get into meditation and was wondering if anyone could refer me to a good chillout trance album to listen to??
any help is much appreciated
thanks
Id get into some deep house sets. Go to the DJ Production Section, some really great chill, deep house sets on there...
I'm back on my Ambient phase once more
Spacemen 3 works for me. Rare album though, not easy to find unless u download it.
Not really new chillout so to speak, but I usually find the following artists (usually anything by them, but I named some specifics too) great for meditation:
Ash Ra Tempel ("Pluralis", "Daydream", "Schizo", and "Sunrain")
Sigur Ros ("Glosoli" and "Saeglopur")
Popol Vuh ("Morgengruss II")
Gong ("Rational Anthem" and "Selene")
Nick Drake
Ulrich Schnauss ("Goodbye" album)
Accadia ("Into The Dawn" ambient mix)
Jose Gonzalez ("Crosses")
Sufjan Stevens ("Out of Egypt, Into The Great Laugh Of Mankind, And I Shake The Dirt From My Sandals As I Run" and "Star Of Hope")
You can start to see how I get the inspiration for my tracks haha...

Another great song: NIN "A Warm Place"
thanks!
buddha bar compilations?
i dunno about whole cd compalations
some tracks on in search of sunrise are good for that
but for pure chillout stuff with no driving beat or nothing
i sometimes just lay down and put my headphones on and listen to stuff like this
while listening, be aware of the silence that allows the sound to be. ;D

Every time I see the title of this thread w/o my glasses on, it looks like it says "Medication Questions"

Heartthrob - 'Valentine' is another nice chill track
Though personally, some earplugs and silence are best when it comes to meditation. I suppose it all depends on the particular aim of each session though. Some people just do it to relax.
