I've actually had a couple of meals with McGuinty and while he was not eating babies (on these occasions) I can confirm that he did use the same fork for his salad as he did for his entree.

Alright, I'll bite - what mess did Mike Harris leave behind? Last I checked, he stepped down shortly after fixing Ontario's budget and raising the public education standards.

They didn't leave a mess. They simply tried to clean up after the fools before them. Wrong place at the wrong time. Beats the 100's of broken promises and irresponsibility on McQuinty's part. Now the province is in the gutter, like everyone who knew better said it would be.

Now when the Conservatives come into power again and start doing a good job everyone's gonna bitch because they'll be cutting wages, budgets, etc etc etc.

That is the nature of government programs in general. Once a program starts, it cannot be stopped. Once a budget goes up, it can never come down again. Any politician who tries is going up against people who are quite literally at risk for their livelihood. The fact that their jobs were redundant or overvalued in the first place hardly matters; they still get a vote.

Mike Harris tried, and by the end of his term, he was loathed by every union and almost everyone even loosely affiliated with big government. I think almost 20% of the Ontario population is employed in the public sector. You can't afford to lose that vote. That's why Harris resigned.

Your politics and your approach are so overt its palatable.

You would benefit from being subtle because your politics promote extremes of polarization that only lead to stagnant mudslinging. That same approach used in Ontario is why conservative campaigning has been largely unsuccessful in recent years.
