What is your favorite VST/SoftSynth/SynthMod (etc)

I was afraid if I put VST this thread would be derailed into a discussion of if its a ROMpler or not. You guys know what I'm getting at...so just answer

I have to go with Gladiator from Tone2. I just love everything about it. I feel like it was made for me, but maybe that's because it is the only VST I have gone all out on learning. It seems soooo damn versatile.

I think my favourite is still the Novation V-station, mostly because of its simplicity and wonderfull sound!
But I've been playing with the demo version of sylenth 1 for quite a while now, and I really love it. Really thinking about purchasing it anytime now!

First, Gladiator 2 is definitely NOT a rompler by any definition - it's a virtual analog. Second, excellent choice! I've been using it for months and it instantly became one of my top 5 favorite synths (including my hardware!). Its sound is just incredible, HCM synthesis opens up a new palette of sounds, and, as you mentioned, it's very versatile. I'm really surprised that it hasn't gotten more attention than it has.
