[Review] Sunday School For Degenerates--
I have come back to New York facing nothing but exams. I have one in 20 mins
I will keep this short and sweet even though I have so much to say. Will review more later.
1st. MADE you guys fuking rock. I have partied at the Ice Palace before and I know how crazy shit can get over there especially since it isn't an "official" club. You guys had enough bathrooms - enough bartenders - enough food.. sound..etc
It was done really really well. Congrats on such a wonderful event. I hope and pray that next year it will be done there too. This was my ultimate favorite party during WMC.
I got there around 10:00 am and left at the end of Marcos set round 7:30pm. I danced every single minute I was there even during the crazy rain.
The only sad thing was Guy Gerber's live set got cut short but man-o-man.. the guy who went on after him RIPPED IT! The last track he played while there were a few of us TA's dancing in the rain was MADNESS. It had some old school hip hop sound saying "Funky" in the song. Sick sick sick. Was that Solomon? or something like that? I dunno.
My trance loving bestfriends and boyfriend even had fun at this event and plan on attending next year for the full ride!
I enjoyed seeing so many TA's. Partying with you all made this party even better. Jennypie, Zild, Benji, Cribby, Sara, Shelly, Clovis.. good lord there are so much more.
You all had me laughing and dancing and that is always a fun mixture.
Till next year *cries*
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I had lots of fun so I will be boarding the degenerate bus again next year! lol yep & coming from a trancehead.
It was AWESOME meeting Jennypie, girl you're crazy & I love it!!
I hope you see you again next year!!
Thanks to my bff Mel for showing my I can have fun @ a techno party
Wait, Lis went? So her baby actually heard a tune that didn't have a ten minute breakdown?

I had a great time @ SSFD and wish I could have stayed longer (i was there from 4am-4:30pm and only left since my flight was @ 9) I really enjoyed Solomun's set as well, but truly loved Ida Engberg's set! Tobi Neuman's set was good and his tag team with Adultnapper wasn't bad...but Steve Bug's set was fire, but my body was torn up from dancing for 15+ hours...I do agree that Ice Palace was a good venue for SSFD and hope to go again when they have it in NY soon. too bad I never met up with you Mel |

Such an awesome party!! Being out there with the crazies during Solomun's set before it got shut down again was way fun.
And Ida Engberg....

... so mind blowing!! Being inside that warehouse during her set was one of the most memorable moments of my life.
Big ups to Tobi Neumann for keeping it up after Ida got off, and also Seth Troxler, Stimming, and Barem, for warming up the morning outdoor area proper.
sunday school was one of the highlights of my trip. so much good music, such a good vibe. again, SOO much good music.
i was pretty bored
it def did not live up to the hype for me
got there around 10am or so and left during steve bug's set
meeeehhhhhh
The music kinda sucked up until about 10am when Ida came on. Ida absolutely took the party up a notch and nothing short of amazing. It was good for a while after that then kinda went downhill again. I was loving guy gerber's set... sucks it got cut short. Was very happy to hear Marco outside and left towards the end of his set. All in all sunday school was pretty fun but wasn't nearly as good as people made it out to be.
i got there kinda late but ida, joris and marco were pretty good. the music didn't really blow me away, but the vibe was lovely...

It's been maybe a year since I last saw him. Had me dancing like crazy! I missed adultnapper tag team with Tobi as I tried to stay far away from the indoors cuz I thought it might have smelled like ass and stinky feet. Only went in for the Bug and beginning of Voorn |
i got there around 1030 a.m. and closed it down. was def feelin the warehouse. that place was mental! i wish they wouldve kept people playing in there until close. tobi neumann & adultnapper taggin was badass. ida killed it, steve bug killed it.....i thought it was pretty sick show. i'll be there next year for sure!

well i had a great time the little time i was there. i will admit it wasnt like ssfd parties at the pawnshop those were legendary
joris , marco and cassy was all i wanted to see and all i did see.
ramon - u punk ass. You should've gotten there a little earlier. I saw you for 2.5 seconds
GUBoston - haven't we met before? sucks you were right next to me and I didn't see you. No one fuking recognized me with brown hair! (if i am thinking of another person then oops)
anyways, back to Solomun. When everyone was hiding from the rain after Gerber's set - Sol came on and started the party with that 'I just wanna dance' track. the vibe in that place sky rocketed. such a kick ass first song to bring out all the ppl from inside the warehouse room.
so yeah.. it was my first time catching him - hope he comes to NY!
funniest comment was from Benji. when the ice cream truck pulled up - he said it looked like sweet tooth from twisted metal. I was rofl'ing!
p.s. the ice cream was awesome!
i should've gotten there earlier i know , but i was tired and the weather was shit .. i just sat home and relaxed (i had a really long saturday) .. got home at 8am
If I could do it all over again, I would have crashed out for a few hours instead of showing up around 2am. Instead, I would have come by around 8am and rocked all the way thru to the end. But it was fun while I was there and I will definitely be back next year. I met a handful of TAs at this one, but apparently I missed a bunch of you...
got there really late, missed a lot and got there during steve bug. joris voorn set was my favorite!

I got there around 5pm. It was fun.
What a fucking great Sunday
Got there after Lawler around 6am and could aleady tell that it was going to be ripper. Highlights of the day for me were Ida Engberg destroying inside, seeing everyone I had met throughout the weekend still going balls and partying in the rain with all the homies.

Dancing in the rain was great!
All in all I would say this was the worst SSD yet. Pawnshop parties have been legandairy. But I did like the venue sound was a little week outside. Was definetly disappointed with some of the acts. But Ida Endberg (beautiful and relentless dj) Mr. C, and Martin Landsky all killed it.
