Simple (live PA) | 4.10.09 | Top FLR | Atlanta

April 10th, 2009
TOP FLR - 2 story restaurant/bar/media space in the heart of midtown

Sultry. Bias. Judging. Rude. Angry. Talentless. Drab. Dismal. Boring. Anxious. Daunting.
Those are the words that dot Simple's myspace. Accurate? Somewhat...Comedic? I don't know...but having a significant helping hand in the fresh, new netlabel Two Circles and having released on other labels such as Produkt Schallplatten, Pink Silver and LiveDET, Simple has added a quirkiness and attractiveness to minimal music. A Detroit son, Simple now calls San Francisco his home, and he has teamed up with the likes of Cullen Miller on the label, and included artists such as Doubting Thomas (France), SoulSonic (Lithuania), Lackluster(Finland) and more. Proficient in playing records out, Simple will be leaving those at home as he performs a Live PA set here in Atlanta.

Delicious, both food and ch00ns.
see you there, Sam? i don't believe this is 21+
When has that ever stopped me?
I'm not sure. I'd love to check him, but unless I can hitch a ride I don't think so. The food is also a bit steep for a poor college student budget. I don't have to eat though!
Sam, would you like a ride?
yes he does!
reaaaallllly wish I could make it to this one

simple is used to playing until 8pm the next day
I may go and if I can I'll drive Sam, but I've got a 20 - 30 minute presentation and a paper to finish by friday... so it depends on how good I feel about all that on wednesday.

just something small...nothing huge or anything.
see y'all there! it's this friday...can't believe it's crept up this fast.
will post afterhours info as soon as it's established
Oh this is FRIDAY. I was thinking wednesday lol.
I'll be there for sure.
I have other plans for friday...but mayyyybe I might show up to afterhours.
Getting really excited for this one!
We want this night to be as pure and enjoyable as possible. $5 is pretty cheap to have a great time, especially for an artist performing live who is from out of state.
but...Free is better...so this event is Free
Hmmm, so I actually might be able to make it out to this.
Trace do it.
You guys partying it up before?
I'm picking up Sam and that's all I know.
I only have a class that lasts till 11am on Fridays, so I won't be busy in the slightest beforehand.
So is this a yes to you wanting to go?
