Well, that is what Kandi uses so it answers your question.
Of course it is irrelevant, because he has practised alot to be able to make the tracks he does, and you are looking for a simple way out, which doesnt exist.

all you need is stylus rmx, you can produce the best basslines with that

I used Cubase SX 3 too... that was until I actually purchased the software I use for production.
Sorry (I'm in prick mood right now, btw I used to never buy my software).
For basslines I f***ing love Albino 3! I love programming bass patches in it, and there's tons of great presets as well!
It's well worth the $200!
