so im takin this girl out and im takin her to 230-fifth for drinks later, and i need to find a good restaurant around 14th st somewhere.... any recommendations?

Otherwise if you really just wanna eat, there's Cafeteria on 17th st. and 7th. It's really an overpriced diner, but it's pretty swanky and on a Saturday, cool vibe and music; my ex used to love that place.

I went to TABLA on friday....great views, perfect service. on 5th and I wanna say 23rd (madison square park). Its new-american with an indian twist. great place!! def perfect for a date.

I saw this thread a little too late, but I figured this would come in handy anyway... what happened to the restaurant thread????

Taralucci e Vino, right next to Rosa Mexicano on 18th & University. Really good italian food, great wine list, and a tiramisu' to die for. About $100 for 2 ppl with a btl of wine is what my check usually is.
Make sure you try the burrata with the truffle oil and some balsamic vinegar.
