Anyone see that as of tonight the 10pm PT (1am ET) edition of Sportscenter is now live from LA?

ESPN has a big ole studio in the new AEG complex across from the Staples Center

The feel of the show will be exactly the same and the set is very similar too. Although, them doing it live from out here will allow for more live interviews from the west coast.

Anyhow, thnk it's neat.

I wonder if they are hiring lol.

I was looking forward to this but now I have my reservations.

New West Coast address, Same east coast bullshit.

Funny thing is, they reported on the Yankee game for about three or four minutes. First part was about CC Sabathia, then about a minute about their game, and then another minute with John Kruk's fatass talking about the Yankees losing. After that they showed Angel/Dodger highlights. The highlights from those two games alone combined for less than the fucking Yankees segment.

Same 'ol East Coast bias in my opinion. Hope im wrong but it didnt seem that way last night.

The show is going to be basically the same as the east coast. They are trying to make it as transparent as possible. Hell, the master control room and everything is still run out of Bristol.

It was also just the first night with only two weeks of dry runs. Imagine they won't go outside the usual box of what they usually do until they have what they have always done down pat first. I know they are a bit nervous about the connection between Bristol and LA right now...
