Ill take Dubfire on 4th of July.. I have a feeling that we might see Lawler at Space or at Surfcomber for a pool party for that weekend also.. Rumor is he is in NY on July 3rd.. This Independance would be way better the last year..

everyone keeps talking bad about mansion. to be honest, I've never had a problem with the setup/staff/etc. my only complaint would be the sound system could use some work.

the one thing that you have to give to them though, is that lately they're the only ones that are booking anything nowadays.

i think the bad opinions come from not only the sound system, but the vip setup, the insane drink prices, and more than anything the crowd that goes there. people there dont care about the music. they just want to be seen.

but i do applaud them for bringing some nice talent in. will def be there for some of these shows. and def cant complain about the ticket prices either.

Nice lineup. I think they may also be bringin Roger Sanchez, and Dubfire will also be at Opium HR the night B4 his Mansion gig. Either way Mansion has always charged only $20, outside of Tiesto & WMC shows. Zabiela is a very interesting bookin, and gives me hope they might start bringin other new talent as well (Cox, SVD, Hawtin, etc). Never know.

Beware of the bartenders at Mansion! I will never leave a Tab open there ever again. I only had 4 drinks which I knew would be like $80.00 and when I came to sign for it, it was $180.00 and the bartender bitch fought with me and said that other people in my party put drinks on my tab. Crock of Shit. I got the manager who was another ass and eventually fixed the bill. But if you are upstairs and there is a girl bartender with long dark hair do not leave a tab open with her!

there were a few times mansion has charged 30 and 40. i believe benny benassi last april was like 30. pretty sure atleast. so its good they are only charging 20 now. hopefully theyll bring some trance too. last year they brought markus and g&d before the split. id go see gabriel if they brought him. he was awesome at the dj mag pool party. but def would like to see svd, halliwell, marco v, and many others that will probably never make it over here. but who knows...
